It's a Love Story

"No.. Hunny, don't cry." Lilli smiled at her, rubbing her shoulder.

"I'm not. Not yet," she chuckled, doing her best to prevent herself from crying.

"There's no reason to. Not even happy crys, I will not allow it in my car." She chuckled. "You can move to the girls car later if you want. Like, when we pick up Cassie."

"Sure," she smiled, happy either way.

"Well, I think the girls would want you with them." she smiled, pulling over onto the side of the road in front of a nice house.

Roman was seen jogging to the house, knocking on the door.

Cassie's little boy, Timmy, opened the door. "Roman!" he smiled, reaching up for her. She was his favorite cousin.

"Timmy!" Roman smiled, picking up her cousin. "How are you little guy?"

He hugged her tight. "I wanna go too, but mommy said it's for girls only. Can I come to the barbeque later," he asked her, using his big eyes and worked with Roman about 99% of the time.

"There's no need for the eyes." She smiled. "And yes, it's for everyone."

"Yaaaay!," he cheered, throwing his hands up in the air.

She laughed and dropped him on a chair. "Where's mommy?" she asked.

"She's upstairs. Daddy's helping her put on her shoes," he smiled.

"Yeah?" She smiled and then was glomped by Sami, Timmy's twin.

"Roman!" She yelled.

Cassie came downstairs, chuckling at her twins. "Sami, don't hurt your cousin," she scolded gently.

Roman smiled as she held Timmy upside down and Sami was trying to get him. "Oh... I suppose you want me to put Timmy right side up, huh?"

Timmy squealed, laughing, as he tried to hold on as hard as he could so he wouldn't fall.

Roman put the boy right side up again and smiled at her aunt. "You're getting bigger."

Cassie smiled, rubbing her belly gently. "It's got a heartbeat now," she said happily.

Roman smiled brightly. "Really!? Can I feel?"

"Sure," Cassie smiled happily.

Roman smiled and gently placed her hand on Cassie's stomach, smiling more as she felt the heart beat. "Wow... That is so cool..."

Cassie chuckled, smiling happily. She was glowing. "We have a checkup next week. Are you gonna come with me, kids?"

"I will, Mama!" Timmy said, jumping up and down. "Will we get to see the baby?"

"The baby's first pictures," Cassie smiled, nodding.

Roman smiled. "I expect a copy." she said then smiled as Jared came down, obviously still a bit tired.

"I thought you girls would have left already..." he mumbled.

The kids were playing with Roman for a little bit," she kissed her husband's cheek softly. "They're wide awake this morning, love. Do you want me to make you a quick cup of coffee?"

"No..." Jared smiled. "They'll wake me up quick enough." he said, kissing Cassie's lips and then her belly. "You girls have fun."
