It's a Love Story

"you don't want my dad to see you bringing me home. Trust me. Please go home," she said, gently pushing him to get back i his car."

He sighed and nodded. "If you want." he said softly then leaned in and gently place his lips on hers then pulled away, blushing. "I'm uhm... I'm going to stay here until you get inside."

She blushed, her fingertips going to her lips. "Uhm... okay," she said, a little incoherant as she went to her door, looked back at him with a little smile and wave, and slipped inside. Almost immediately, the yelling started.

"Where the hell were you!?"

Jon heard the yellling and almost wanted to go back inside and get her but knew he couldn't. Sighing, he got back to his car and went home, parking in the garage and slipping into the living room.

Ren got about an hour's worth of yelling before they yelled at her to go to bed. She cried, laying down in a ball, facing her wall. She thought about Jon after a while, and touched her lips again, blushing at the thought of his on hers.

Jon sighed as he laid in bed. It was late and there was school tomorrow but he couldn't get Ren out of his head. HE turned his light on, drawing her again.

The next morning, Ren ran out of her house with her schoolbag, trying to escape more yelling. She wouldn't be late today - she'd made it her mission to meet Jon under the bleachers before school. She ran pretty much the entire way to school and made it before her bus did, panting as she leaned up against one of the poles under the bleachers.

Jon was there, sitting in the shade with his sketch pad in his lap and his bag next to him.

Still panting, she looked around and saw Jon. She picked up her bag and walked to him, still catching her breath. "Morning."

He looked at her, smiling then frowned slightly, standing. "You okay?"

She nodded. "I ran the whole way here," she told him.

"How come?" he asked, taking her hand gently and leading her to the shade.

"I was being yelled at again, but I didn't want to let you down," she told him.

"Alright, well, sit. Relax." he smiled, sitting again.

She smiled and sat in the shade, relaxing.

He sat next to her and smiled, showing her the picture he drew of her in the water. "It's one of my favorites."

She blushed, looking at it closely. "you made me look so pretty," she murmured.

He smiled and bumped his shoulder against hers lightly. "That's because you are."

She blushed and hid her face against her knees, shaking her head. "No, I'm not," she mumbled.

Jon smiled. "I think you're beautiful." he said softly.

A couple of Jon's friends were walking by, talking. One of them blinked, stopping and looking over at Jon. "Who's that girl? Is that Crybaby," he asked, not loud enough to wear they could hear.

Ren shook her head, disagreeing with him.

Jon looked up and looked at his friends, sighing. He ignored then, looking back at Ren. "Are you going to the show tonight?" he asked about his art show.

She looked up at him and nodded. "I can still borrow one of your sister's dresses, right? I'll take good care of it, I promise," she said, crossing her heart.

"Yes of course. You can go home with us if you want. I promise I wont let Roman drive. She's still learning." he smiled.

She smiled. "You're too hard on your little sister. I think she's nice."

"Hey, Jonny Boy," his friend smiled, walking up to them. "What's up, man? We're gonna grab some breakfast from the cafeteria. You hungry?"
