It's a Love Story

She smiled. "Goodnight, honey," she said softly.

"Night sweet heart." he mumbled softly before closing his phone.

She hung her phone up and said goodnight to her folks before going to bed.

"We should probably get back home." Jon mumbled as he covered up a yawn.

Ren nodded, sighing softly. seh didn't want the night to end.

"Will you be at school tomorrow?" he asked, walking with her back to the car.

"I should be," she nodded.

"Alright, then, I'll meet you under the bleachers." he smiled, getting to the car.

She smiled and nodded. "I'll meet you there."

He opened the car door for her and smiled. "Good."

She smiled and got into his car, putting on her seatbelt.

Jon got in and drove. "So... I've got a question to ask you." he said slowly.

She looked at him curiously. "What's the question," she asked him.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" she asked.

She blushed brightly and nodded.

He smiled and looked at her at a red light. "Really?"

"Really," she smiled, still blushing.

Jon smiled brightly. "Wow... thank you."

"No. Thank you," she chuckled.

He didn't stop smiling, at least until they got to her house. It looked so run down and dirty. "so, this is your house?"

She nodded. "Yep, this is the place..."

He nodded and shut the car off, going around and opening her door for her. This might be her neighborhood but he wasn't about to let her get out of his car alone. He'd walk her to her door step.

She shook her head. "Jon, please get back in your car," she whispered to him, panicking. She had no idea how her dad would react to a boy at her doorstep.

"How come?" he asked, looking at her.
