She smiled, holding her arms out for her daughter. "You feeling okay baby girl?"

"I'm cold, mommy," she mumbled.

she grabbed a blanket and pulled Bri to her, settling her in her lap with the blanket around both of them. "But how do you feel? are you getting sick?"

"My froat hurwts a wittwe, but I swept wif my mouf open," she said.

"Why'd you do that, silly?" she asked, reaching over for some water.

"I didn't mean to, mommy," she said, giggling.

She handed Brianna the water and rubbed her shoulder. "Drink some water, let's see if that fix's it." she said softly.

"Kay," she smiled and drank her fill.

"Better?" she asked, hopeful as she took the water skin away when she was finished.

"A wittwe. It still huwts," she said.

She sighed. "then let's make you some tea." she said softly, getting up and settling her daughter on the big bed with the blanket around her. "I'm going to get your Daddy, stay here."

"Okay," she said and curled up by the fire.

Ilane kissed her daughters cheek and went out of the den, following the little path that Nick had made. "Nick." she said, pulling on his tail playfully.

Nick stopped digging and turned around. I thought I told you to stay home, silly, he nuzzled her. He was covered in snow.

She sighed, resting her forehead against his nose. "But you're the only one of us able to get stuff for tea. You were right, Bri's getting sick. I'm hopeing to give him something hot... kick it in the butt before it get's really bad." she said, reaching up to run her fingers through the fur on his cheek.

Alright, love. I'll get right on it, he promised, nuzzling her lovingly.

Kendal came out of his den in his wolf form. He had seen Nick digging and had gotten up to help him. Are you two going to just sit there and cuddling in the middle of the snow? he asked, totally teasing.

Yes. Yes, we are, Nick grinned and brought Ilane closer with his paw.

Ilane smiled and buried her face in Nick's fur. then, she squeaked and jumped back as her back melted some of the snow on Nick's paw.

Kendal laughed slightly and went to digging his own path to the other dens.

Nick chuckled and nuzzled her. I'll be back soon with the tea, love. Go back inside.

She nodded and pulled some snow out of her shirt. "alright. We'll cuddle later." she said, loud enough for Kendal to hear. Kendal scoffed and swished his tail, sending snow flying at Nick.

Nick snorted and shook his fur.

"No playing around guys... You remember what happened last time." Ilane said softly then kissed Nick's nose. "Hurry back. I don't want Bri to sick."

"That was Brados and Kendal, not me. I'll hurry back," Nick pressed his nose to her forehead.

She sighed. "But still..." she said softly, running her fingers through his fur again. "Hurry back."
