Ilane nodded. "alright."

Nick came back with their food and smiled, handing it to them. "Here you go," he smiled, kissing their cheeks.

Ilane smiled, letting her baby eat. She wasn't all that hungry.

Nick smiled and pulled Ilane into his arms, holding her lovingly and rubbing her belly.

she smiled, leaning close to him. "I love you." she said softly.

"I love you, too," he nuzzled her lovingly.

Ilane smiled, her hands on her stomach.

Briana finished eating and smiled up at her parents. "Can we pway now," she asked, clearly awake, as she started bouncing up an down.

Ilane smiled, looking up at Nick. "She wants to play hide and seek." she told him.

He chuckled. "Does she, now? I never would have guessed. Who do you want to find you, sweetie?"

"Bof of you," she giggled.

He chuckled softly, closing his eyes. "One, two, three," he started counting slowly.

Bri giggled when her mom closed her eyes and ran off to go hide.

Ilane opened her eyes and moved to straddle Nick. she kissed his neck teasingly. "Would you like me to hide, too?"

He chuckled, wrapping his arms around her. "Hmm... If you want. Or you can stay here until I'm done counting," he chuckled, kissing her.

She smiled, kissing his neck. "Keep counting."

He smiled and continued counting from where she'd interrupted him.

For each number, she kissed a different part of his neck, softly and lovingly.

He smiled, rubbing her back as he kept counting slowly.

She smiled, pulling back and smiling at him once he finished counting.

He smiled and kissed her when he was done, and got up, helping her up gently. "Ready or not, here we come," he called to wherever Bri was.

Briana was looking for a new, better hiding place than what she'd found previously. She went deeper and deeper into the forest without realizing how far she'd gone, and finally found a little tunnel just big enough for her to move around in and hide. She crawled inside and waited for her mommy and daddy to come find her.

Ilane smiled, looking under bushes and up trees for her daughter. "Bri... I'm going to find you." she said playfully.

Bri couldn't hear them. She figured she must have found a very good hiding place. She giggled to herself.

Nick looked in the tiny places where she normally hid, and some places she might have been, but didn't find her. "Found yourself a new hiding place, huh?" he chuckled.

After a little while longer of looking, Ilane got a little worried. "Bri... sweet heart, come out. This isn't funny anymore."

Nick frowned. It was getting colder and the wind was picking up. He could smell snow in the air. "Briana, come out. Play time is over," he called.

Bri didn't hear them. She hugged herself in her little cave, shivering. But she didn't want to lose the game, so she stayed put stubbornly.

Ilane went to Nick, shivering from the cold and worried sick. "did you find her?" she asked.

He shook his head gravely. "No. I'll try following her scent, but it'll be hard to follow with this wind and how cold it is." He shifted into his wolf form and nuzzled her gently. We will find her. Don't worry. Then, set to work on following Briana's scent.

she sighed, rubbing her arms to keep them warm. "Brianna... Please come out." she begged, still searching for her daughter as the storm got worse.
