A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.3

Ilane smiled. "We love you."

He smiled and nuzzled Ilane happily.

Ilane smiled. "Have you seen Olivia this morning?"

He shook his head. "No, I haven't. Any change," he asked.

Ilane smiled, nodding. "She's all better. She's out playing with her cousins."

"Really," he asked and smiled. "That's excellent. Maybe Sam's will return soon, too."

She nodded. "I haven't seen Sam. I heard that she was out with Brados so, she might be coming back also." She said. She knew that Nick took it hard, especially with his own sister the one who was hurt most.

He smiled. "That's good. At least she's not isolating herself anymore."

She nodded. "Now you have no excuse not to go visit her." She smirked.

He chuckled. "You don't mind if I go now?"

She shook her head. "I wouldn't have brought it up if I didn't expect you to do now."

He kissed her softly. "Just checking. I love you. I'll be back soon. Get some rest, sweetheart."

she nodded, kissing him back. "I love you. And I will rest, promise." she said.

He nuzzled her once more before he covered her up and left to go find his sister.

Ilane held onto Brianna and closed her eyes, finding it oddly easy to fall back to sleep.

Sam was with Brados, not to far away from the pack.

Brados smiled over Sam's shoulder as Nick walked towards them. "Your brother came to see you, it looks like," he nuzzled her.

She looked at Brados. "Remind me who my brother is..." she said softly.

"Nick," Brados told her with a soft smile.

She still looked a little confused but shrugged. "Alright."

"Your twin," he reminded her with a soft chuckle as Nick arrived.

"Hey. Feeling any better," he asked Sam.

She smiled at him and nodded, still staying close to Brados. "Much, thank you."

Nick smiled. "Good, I'm glad."

she nodded, not really sure what to say now. she didn't know him, didn't know what they did together or how their relationship was.

He put his hand on her shoulder, not wanting to freak her out by hugging her. "Tell us if you need anything, or if you want to talk. We're all waiting patiently for my sister to come back," he smiled gently.

she nodded slowly. "It would be better if you told me things..." she said then smiled. "Brados can't tell me much about what you and I do. Apparently, I don't tell him much..."
