She smiled and shrugged. "It's alright." she said, kissing his lips. "Unpacking's the easy part."

"Yeah..but dammit, I wanted to help." Jake said, playfully whining as he kissed her back. He pulled her over him carefully, holding her close. "Why not help me out with something, hm?" he grinned.

She smiled, straddling him. "I'd love to."

Jake kissed Charisma softly, then grunting in pain sharply as his side started to ache. "Aw damnit..." he mumbled against her lips with strained eyes. He cursed, pulling away from her and biting his lip. "The..The painkillers..."

She got off of him quickly and got his pills and some water. She sat next to him, "Here baby..." She said softly.

Jake grunted again, mostly out of pride as he took the pills and drank the water down along with it. He then put the glass away, panting. He felt the rush of the pills, sighing in relief but also angry that he was going to fall asleep. "God I hate this.." he mumbled tiredly.

Charisma went up and hugged him, rubbing his shoulders. "It'll be over in a few days."

"A few days isn't soon enough." Jake muttered, sighing. "So, you ok? Not sore from moving so much stuff?"

She shook her head. "No. Not at all. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah...are you?" Jake asked, chuckling a bit. He felt lots better, but it still stunk that he couldn't even be with his own woman for goodness sakes.

She nodded. "Yup. So, you wanna help me unpack?" She asked, smiling now.

"What do you want me to unpack?" Jake asked groggily as he stood and rubbed his eyes. The pills sort of numbed his pain, so all he felt was tingling.

She looked at him and at the boxes. "You know.. We can unpack later." she said softly. "Let's just sit down, watch a movie..."

Jake sighed, sitting down without complaint. "Gotcha...whichever movie you want..." he mumbled, starting to fall asleep sitting up.

She nodded and kissed his lips. "I love you." she said softly, sitting next to him.

Jake kissed back and just barely before she even put a movie in. He was dead asleep, knocked out. He would be for quite a while.

It was late and Charisma had put a pillow on Jake's lap, and had fallen asleep.

By the time Jake woke up, he felt that Charisma was on his lap. He looked down, smiling and rubbing her head. "Man, I love you..." he muttered with loving eyes.

She moved a little closer to him, sighing. "Love you too..."

Jake stared down, smiling. "You still sleepy?" he asked, chuckling.

She nodded. "I'm still sleeping..."

'Ok, go ahead and sleep.." Jake said, smiling as he turned on the TV for the news.

She smiled sighing and keeping her head on the pillow on his lap.

Jake eventually got up, not waking Charisma while he went to the bathroom. It was hard but he made it.

Charisma had felt him get up and had sat up, running her hand through her hair.
