A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.3

"Hey now... you left Kendal in charge of getting your kids to bed. " Ilane said, stealing a peace of meat from Sam's plate, who glared up at her sister, and handed it to Bri.

Briana nommed on the piece of meat, looking up at her mommy.

Brados chuckled. "So my baby brother is to blame, eh?"

Ilane nodded. "Yup. He let her stay up so late." She said. She knew Brados would give Kendal crap for it later and then Kendal would give Ilane crap. Ah... family.

Brados chuckled and kissed his little girl's head.

"Or maybe it's your guy's fault. You're the ones who went off to have sex so early." Ilane stated.

"Hey! Don't even go there! I saw Nick drop Bri off in our den." Sam said, smirking.

"But at least we didn't let our little girl stay up so late." Ilane smiled.

"We didn't let her. Kendal did," Brados grinned.

"Only because you guys were having sex." Ilane smiled. she liked arguing like this.

"Not my fault I missed her so much," Brados pouted.

"Yeah... It kind of is," Nick chuckled.

Brados shrugged, giving up and kissing Sam.

Sam smiled, turning her head to that he kissed her lips not her cheek.

He smiled and nuzzled her.

Ilane smiled, ruffling Brados' hair. "Come on nick." She said softly, taking her mates hand. "I want you guys to myself for a little longer before Bri totally wakes up and goes to play."

Nick smiled. "Alright, love. Lead the way."

She smiled, leading them away and sitting down by a tree.

He smiled and sat down next to her, chuckling at Bri. She was still nomming on the piece of meat, looking around and up at them both curiously.

ilane smiled, sitting down, letting Bri sit in her lap.

Bri gurgled, smiling as she nibbled on the meat.

Nick smiled and kissed her forehead. She was so cute.

"Do you want me to make that smaller for you sweetie?" she asked Bri about her meat.

Bri shook her head, smiling and nibbling on it still.

Nick chuckled softly.

Ilane nodded at her daughter. "You're as stubborn as your daddy." She smiled.

He chuckled. "Stubbornness is an art, my love," he grinned. "I have mastered it."

"I bet I'm more stubborn than you." Ilane grinned mischievously at her mate.

"Uh-huh," Nick said sarcastically, smiling back.

"Uh-huh." she said back, lifting an eye brow.

He chuckled and kissed her. "You know you win every time. With me, at least."

"Yeah." She smiled, kissing him again. "Because you let me win."
