She looked at him as they drew to a small hole in the wall. "You look nervous." she said.

He shook his head, composing himself. "I am fine." Surely, if citizens do this all the time, then it must be safe. I see them leave and come back unharmed. Why I let my father and his guards tell me it is so dangerous, I will never know... he thought to himself.

"Just stay close to me." she smiled. "A stiff like you could get into trouble." she said, dipping down and going through the small hole, just barley big enough for her to go through.

"Stiff," he questioned, squeezing through the opening after her. He didn't much care if his clothes got torn a little. He had plenty back at the castle.

"Yes." She said, once he was through the hole. "Look at the way you stand. You don't know how to relax."

"Teach me, then," he said, curious to learn how normal citizens lived.

"It can't really be taught... At least not by me... Just slouch a little, don't stand with your back so straight or with your hands behind your back." she shrugged.

"Slouch... Like this," he asked, slumping his shoulders a little.

She giggled. "That's a little to much. Just relax." she said.

He thought for a moment and finally closed his eyes, relaxing his muscles as he would in meditation.

"That's it." she smiled. "Come on, I want to show you something." She said, waving her arm and grabbing the front of her shirt as she walked through the trees, away from the city walls.

He blinked as he was being tugged along and followed her, curious what she was so intent on showing him.

"So, you've really never been out here?" she asked him.

"Truly," he nodded.

"How come?" She asked.

"Everyone told me it wasn't safe, that there were too many dangers for us to leave the city walls. I've never even seen what outside of the walls look like. It's beautiful. Everything is so big," he said, looking at their surroundings.

"Just wait." she smiled, walking even further away. The trees started thinning and the crops of food that suplied the cities food came into sight.

Andrew followed her and stared in awe. "What are those," he asked. He'd never seen them before.

"Those are the food crops that supply the city." She said. "Where did you think your food was grown?"

"I have no idea," he shook his head, realizing how much he didn't know. "Teach me," he said, wanting to know everything he could learn.

"In a minute." She smiled back at him. "We're almost there." The crops began to thin and they came to a feild of just grass. Long grass blowing in the light breeze. Amy let her hair down and she turned her face up to the sky. "You don't get this kind of wind behind the walls." she smiled.

Andrew continued to follow her. He relaxed as he gazed at their surroundings. "It feels nice," he murmured.

She smiled and nodded. "Come on." she said, walking a bit further to a tree. She sat under it, spreading her dress skirts around her.

He sat down next to her, not worrying about dirtying his already-ripped clothes. "I don't know why my father said it was so dangerous out here," he said, leaning against the tree. "It seems perfectly peaceful to me."

"There are bandits and gypsies around." she said with a shrug.
